Custom officials have foiled an attempt to smuggle 2,000 bottles of wine into the country through Al-Bat'ha border crossing. Brigadier Yousuf Al-Qahtani, spokesman of Eastern Province police, said the smugglers had hid the bottles in two trucks. The smugglers were referred to the concerned authorities, he said.
