The Director General of the Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organization, Walid Bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji, said during his meeting with Makkah Emir, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, that the organization's mills in Jeddah and Makkah will increase their production to 1200 tons of flour per day later this year. In the meeting, the Emir reviewed new projects the organization is to execute in Makkah Region, including the foundation of new silos at Jeddah Islamic Port, bringing the total capacity of silos to 100,000 metric tons. Al-Khuraiji said the preparations gave the organization confidence to deal with seasons when large numbers of people arrive in Makkah.
