The Saudi and Japanese working groups of Saudi Electronics & Home Appliance Institute (SEHAI) held a meeting in Jeddah recently for the opening of the SEHAI in Dirriah, Riyadh, slated in September 2009, immediately after Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays this year. SEHAI will impart Saudi youths with education and training about repair and maintenance of electronics and home appliances. After 2 years in the SEHAI Institute, graduates are expected to become professionals in their respective field and will start their job careers in the workshops of SEHAI group member companies in Saudi Arabia, a statement said. SEHAI has been receiving supports from Saudi distributors of electronics and home appliances companies, Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), Japanese manufactures of electronics and home appliances, Nippon Engineering College (NEEC) of Japan, and Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME).
