Spain's Jorge Lorenzo led a Yamaha one-two by powering to victory over MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi in the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday. Lorenzo's second win since moving up from 250cc last year gave him a one-point lead over Rossi in the world championship standings. He has 41 points to the Italian's 40 after two rounds. Honda's Dani Pedrosa took third place and Ducati's Casey Stoner fourth. Spain's Alvaro Bautista won the 250cc race followed by Japan's Honda rider Hiroshi Aoyama and Italian Mattia Pasini. Italy's Andrea Iannone blazed to his second straight 125cc win. Spain's Julian Simon came in second and Pol Espargaro of Spain on a Derbi third.
