Hilal and Al-Ittihad completed King's Cup semifinal lineup after they edged Al-Nasr and Al-Ittifaq respectively in their quarterfinal second leg matches on Sunday. A goalless draw against its city rival Al-Nasr was enough for Riyadh giant Al-Hilal to secure a seat in the last four of the lucrative competition. Both Riyadh clubs have also drawn 1-1 in their first leg matches which were held at the King Fahd International Stadium. Meanwhile, Saudi League champion Al-Ittihad cruised to the semifinal as it beat Al-Ittifaq 1-0 at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah. Osamah Al-Moulad scored the only goal of the match as he headed a corner kick into Al-Ittifaq's net just two minutes after the kickoff. Al-Ittihad, however, ended the first leg match in Dammam with the same score, thanks to a late goal by Talal Al-Mishal. The draw put Al-Hilal against defending champion Al-Shabab in the first leg game in Riyadh on April 30 while Al-Ittihad plays Al-Hazm in the same format one day later. The second leg matches of the teams have been scheduled on May 7 and 8 but they may be transferred to another date as Al-Hilal, Al-Shabab and Al-Ittihad have their group stage last round in the AFC Champions League one day before. The new competition of the King's Cup, formally known as King's Cup for Champions was structured in 2007 after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz approved the new format of the competition. Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has allocated nine million riyals as cash prize for the first four teams in the competition. The prize is the highest in the middle east as the winner receives four millions beside participating in the next AFC Champions League. The runner-up takes SR2.5m, the third placed will win SR1.5m while the fourth team takes SR1m. __
