Three expatriates were taken to hospital with burns after the explosion of a gas cylinder in the Mada'in Al-Fahd District here, Sunday. The explosion, reportedly caused by an electrical spark igniting a gas leak, led to a fire in the bachelor house where a number of Egyptian and Yemeni workers resided. Firefighters and rescue teams were called to the scene and the building was evacuated, but not before three persons were trapped in a room and suffered first degree burns.
