Border Guard authorities in Tabuk have warned people to be aware of areas of the province's coastline designated as dangerous for swimming. An official from the Border Guard said the public should avoid swimming in dangerous zones and that information brochures highlighting all prohibited areas were being distributed. “Children should be constantly supervised,” Brigadier Mohammad Al-Themali added, “and inner tubes should not be used while swimming as they are difficult to control in the sea.” Al-Themali said the Border Guards in Tabuk have devoted all their resources to serving visitors to the coast during the midterm break.
