Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah Aal Saud, Minister of Education (right), inaugurates Developed Technologies Conference 2009 at the InterCon Hotel in Riyadh Sunday. The leadership of the Kingdom has taken giant strides to develop knowledge economy and industries starting with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and the SR9-billion project for developing the education system, and the concept of e-government. King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) has developed 100 programs for creativity, patent, and research, said Prince Turki Bin Saud, deputy director of the KACST.
