Hazm booked a seat in the King's Cup for Champions' semifinals after a 2-2 draw with Al-Ahli at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium here on Friday. It was the former Al-Ahli striker Waleed Al-Jizani who edged the Jeddah side as he scored both the goals for Al-Hazm. The two sides drew 1-1 in their first leg match at Al-Hazm Stadium in Al-Rass last week. Al-Rass-based Club will now host in the semifinals against the winner of Al-Ittihad and Al-Ittifaq clash on Sunday. Hassan Al-Raheb put Al-Ahli ahead after 25 minutes as he blasted the ball from inside the box to the left side of Al-Hazm goalkeeper Waleed Al-Sabhan. In the 34th minute, unmarked Al-Jizani found himself one-on-one with Mansour Al-Najae and leveled the game. Al-Ahli players pressed forward and the teams regained the lead five minutes later as Mohammed Masad's long shot hit the net of Al-Sabhan. Few minutes from the break, Al-Hazm was reduced to ten players after Naif Al-Mosa was sent off . Al-Hazm entered the second half with nothing to lose. The team went on an all-out attack but Al-Ahli defenders stood firm. In the 60th minute, Al-Jizani made a solo effort on the right edge and drove into the box before blasting the ball to the right side of Al-Najae to make it 2-2. On Saturday, Al-Shabab plays Al-Wehdah at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh while Al-Hilal faces its home rival Al-Nasr on Sunday at the Same avenue. Al-Shabab won the first leg 5-2 while Al-Hilal drew 1-1 with Al-Nasr in their derby match last week. Al-Raed's hopes alive Faris Al-Amri scored a late goal to keep Al-Raed's hopes alive in the Saudi Premier League as it drew 1-1 with Abha at the Prince Sultan Sports City in Asir. The match was the first of two series to decide the team which will remain in the Saudi League while the other side joins the first division clubs.
