day Sri Lanka Catalog Exhibition will be inaugurated at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) on Monday. Mustafa Kamal Sabri, JCCI General Secretary will inaugurate the expo in the presence of Abdulatif Mohammed Zafer, Sri Lanka Consul General in Jeddah. The expo will be attended by a number of business owners and those interested in extending bridges of trade cooperation and investment between Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka. “More than thirty companies from Sir Lanka will participate in the exhibition aiming to show their products in the fields of precious stones, jewelry, artificial flowers, medicines, herbs, furniture, agriculture, plants, tea, rubber products, footwear, furniture, mineral water, tires, ceramics, spices, marine products and shipping, textiles, building and construction, kitchen, food products, and sweets,” said Sabri. The exhibition, he said, is the culmination of efforts between the two sides to increase trade exchanges between the two countries. The JCCI, he said, had received an invitation from Sri Lanka asking the Saudi government to visit Colombo in order to enhance commercial cooperation between the two countries.
