The General Administration for Private Training at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) has said that it will not be responsible for the supervision of private women's training centers which have not been licensed by the corporation or have not renewed their licenses. In a circular issued to private women's training centers, Dr. Mubarak Bin Muhammad Al-Tami, Director General of the General Administration for Private Training at TVTC, said training centers that have not obtained training licenses or whose licenses have expired must immediately stop advertising their courses or registering new female trainees. He stressed that violating centers will be penalized according to the regulations and they will be closed down for good. He pointed out that a final grace period of three months has been granted to these centers to complete the requirements for obtaining a license from the Administration. He said that the centers must submit applications to the General Administration for Private Training or one of its branches, and he added that if the grace period ends before they have submitted their application and fulfilled all the requirements, then their licenses will be considered null and void. Centers whose licenses have been cancelled will be required to close their premises and clear all their commitments to their staff and to all female trainees.
