Zamil CoolCare, the regional leader in providing engineering and after sales services to the HVAC industry, has signed an agreement with Saudi Binladin Group (SBG)to commission the mechanical and electrical systems of all Phase One facilities at the King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) project, located on the eastern shore of the Red Sea at Thuwal, Saudi Arabia.
Under the terms of the contract, Zamil CoolCare will provide supervisory commissioning services for the following mechanical and electrical systems: conveying, fire fighting and suppression, plumbing, HVAC, building management, electrical, communications, utility metering, solar and life support.
The systems covered by the agreement's scope of work are located in 73 campus-wide structures of divergent purposes, including residential buildings, research incubators, a visitor center, a library, restaurants, shops, theatres, offices, a yacht club, a boat house, and the University's Center for Marine Oceanic Research.
Zamil CoolCare has expanded its range of services to reach beyond its considerable HVAC capacity and experience to encompass a broad range of mechanical and electrical systems commonly used in the commercial, industrial and residential facilities it serves.
