Festivals planned during holidays

The midterm school holidays will witness the launch of over 15 festivals and events around the Kingdom as authorities target Saudi families in efforts to encourage domestic tourism. The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has worked with the private sector and regional tourism development boards in organizing a variety of events, such as, the Riyadh Heritage Festival, the Najran Spring Heritage Festival, the Yanbu Festival, the Kingdom Beach Football Tournament in the Eastern Province, Al-Musawkaf Heritage Festival in Qasim and the Taif Flower Festival. The SCTA is also supporting other events like the Spring Festival, the Classic Car Festival, and Qatif's Tawasil Art festivals.
