Gosaibi, Minister of Labor, has blamed Saudi Arabian Airlines for his late arrival to an official function in Dammam. Al-Gosaibi, who had taken a flight to the Eastern province to attend the opening of a new building of the Human Resources Development Fund in Dammam, said his flight from Riyadh had been delayed by an hour and a half. “We were further surprised upon boarding the airplane when the captain announced that some minor problems would require more time to resolve,” the minister said. “Thankfully it did not take long, and the captain apologized for the inconvenience.” During his trip the minister praised Prince Sultan Fund for Women's Small Businesses, describing it as a “pioneering success” which has “opened new horizons and given hope to Saudi women to work in an environment that suits their nature, customs, traditions and tolerant Islamic values.”
