Laderas, Sarawat Superstores bag awards

Ljay Laderas, playing with Mixed Nuts team, fired a three-game series of 628 while league leader Sarawat Superstores recorded 36 points to capture the Best Bowler and Best Team of the Week awards in the 14th week of the Jeddah Thursday Bowling League at the Bowling City located in Sultana Malls.
The league is organized by Igna Salgado and sponsored by the Sarawat Superstores.
Leading scorer in the Sarawat Superstores team was Ed Sardina who scored a series of 598. Rudy Valenzuela, Eddie Tuico and Hero Garcia excelled too by posting separate series of 592, 575 and 573. Salgado and Archie Santos contributed 550 and 535 points respectively. Sarawat Superstores still holds the number spot after the 14th week of action.
Class D, Ljay Laderas, Best Bowler of the Week, helped Mixed Nut post 10 points. Laderas sealed 628 points while Ljay tallied 583 points. Ray Thompson shot 488 points. Mixed Nuts, having a blind player, registered total team series handicap of 2,574 points.
A.B.B. Contracting Company and Luvenor registered an identical 30.5 points respectively. At the forefront in A.B.B. Contracting was Johnny Diores with 607 points. Diores rolled a game high of 254. Bonnie Garcia and Oca Bernabe came next by posting the best score of 578 and 570. Alfred de Guzman and Cesar Monares added 563 and 552.
Manny Tibay splashed his deadly form to topscore in Luvenor by pouring 625 points and next to him wereJack Jarin and Ed Cordova who toppled an identical series of 564. Larry Domingo and Joel Nidoy sealed 552 and 524 while Nards Hassan downed 479 points.
Ball Mixer went home with 29 points and on top was Leo Edejer with 595 points. He was followed by Ladio Gonzales (577), Dan Edbave (570), Obie Ycasas (547) and Nanding Siasoco (537).
Cosma Kabbani sparkled to snatch 27.5 points and the leading scorers were Rey Beltran (603), Pancho Cuevas (583), Nick Gozun (577), Jess Cerbito (562 and Tommy de Castro (538).
A total of 21.5 points were garnered by the Cool Change Re-Load and at the limelight was Rene Punzalan (572). Zaldy Bacero and Mar Cabrera sizzled to post an identical series of 551. Rene Martinez had 547 points while Rey del Rosario and Bobby Baraquiel pocketed 495 and 494.
Bulak “Bowl” through the effort of Bher del Rosario recorded 17 points. Del Rosario carded a three game series of 602.Abert Dorado knocked out 596 points. Hadi Pacheco sizzled to post 575 points while Dennis Alvarado and Jhun Estofano hitted separate series of 491 and 436 points respectively.
Hataw-III hammered 14 points through the excellent game of Ernie Geslani by scoring 583 points.Willie Ansis and Rudy Punzalan downed 551 while Rico Nery and Alex Flora sparked 488 and 475.
Best Bowler of the Week awardees from Week 1 to 14: Sid Sagun, Ed Sardina, Rudy Valenzuela, Luis Luna, Ruben Grino, Pnacho Cuevas, rudy Punzalan, Obie Ycasas, Johnny Diores, Mark Hernandez, Rod Morales, Joel Nidoy, Ernie Geslani and Ljad Laderas.
