All private and international schools in the Kingdom will soon have new rules and regulations governing them, Abdulkarim Al-Huqail, Director General of the women's education department at the Ministry of Education, said here Tuesday. The new rules are based on the recommendations of a forum organized by the women's division of private education management here on April 14 under the theme “By innovation we can achieve excellence.” The forum was aimed at enhancing the relationship between educational associations and staff to resolve private education problems. “We issued several recommendations based on our experience in the preceding years. The Ministry of Education promised to provide us with a number of Saudi teachers instead of foreign teachers,” said Amal Radwan, Director of Private Education Management in the Ministry of Education branch in Jeddah. According to Radwan, private and international schools seek an electronic network linking them with the Ministry of Education so that they can easily and directly discuss their problems. “The Ministry of Education will provide private education teachers with annual financial rewards to make them work harder,” said Radwan.
