In summer 2009, the Air France-KLM group will offer 75 weekly flights out of 10 stations in the Gulf region - a 4 percent increase of weekly flights compared to previous year. The number of flights out of Muscat will increase from 5 to 6 per week and will be operated with a short stop in Abu Dhabi. In Kuwait the operations will go up from 5 to 7 flights per week, and in Teheran from 4 to 5 flights per week. In Bahrain, it will operate 7 flights per week, out of which 3 will be operated via Kuwait. In the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the summer schedule is equal to last year with a total of 28 weekly frequencies out of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, 17 weekly flights out of Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah and 5 weekly flights out of Doha. Abu Dhabi will become a fully non-stop KLM operation with 6 flights per week. “With this increase of capacity in our summer schedule, we reinforce our presence in this region and we continue to offer our customers convenient schedules to many destinations in North America, Europe and North Africa.
