The Health Affairs Management here is to launch a two-day symposium under the theme “Obesity and Osteoporosis” Wednesday at King Fahad Costal City. The symposium is intended to help fight obesity among a large number of Saudis. It also aims to enlighten the public on osteoporosis, the silent deadly disease,” said Abdulrahman Al-Sahfi, head of Public Relations Department at the Health Affairs Management. A number of experts, specialists and consultants will discuss osteoporosis diagnosis, obesity in children and adults, stomach disorders, increase in weight, the role of exercise in maintaining normal weight, causes of osteoporosis in Saudi Arabia, and the importance of good nutrition.
