Al Rajhi Bank enhanced its branches network spread around the Kingdom by adding 6 new branches during the last three months in order to serve its customers. The bank had developed two and moved 16 other branches to new locations in line of its local expansion policy that aims at reaching all customers around the Kingdom. The six new branches and the other 16 are located in different locations across the Kingdom. With this expansion plan, Al Rajhi Bank is determined to stay ahead of Islamic Banks around the world in terms of underwritten capital, and maintain the biggest bank branches network in Arab World and the Middle east. “This huge step is to complete our expansion and development plan that aims at reaching all our customers in all country's governorates and regions, including a comprehensive development to current branches and moving others to new locations to keep pace with Banking sector development in Saudi Arabia,” said Saad Al Abdali, head of Branch Network. He promised to open more branches even under the current circumstances due to the global crisis and considered it a “confident” step. He noted that the expansion is a result of the bank's excellent performance, its annual profits growth and its robust financial position. “This provides Al Rajhi Bank with a strong position during the crisis and its impacts locally and the increasing interest in the bank's products and services,” Al Abdali said. Al Rajhi made sure all the new branches are model ones that reflect the future vision of the developed banking entities, which was implemented by world-class modern working environment designing companies, for the convenient of both customers and employees, he added.
