About 150,000 students have enrolled to sit the aptitude test (Qiyas) required of university entrants, Prince Faisal Abdullah Al-Meshari, head of the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation at the Ministry of Higher Education, has said. Al-Meshari said that the registration process, which is being conducted through its official website at www.qiyas.org, would finish at the end of the month, and that the tests would be given between May 7 and 14 of this year. Students have to register through the website and provide the required personal information in order to obtain the student number that permits them to sit the test. Al-Meshari said the 66 testing centers were distributed around 56 cities according to student density, and asked high school graduates and those due to graduate to register as soon as possible before the deadline.
