The Traffic Department, in association with the Emergency Department under Eastern Province Health Ministry and Saudi Red Crescent Society organized a road safety awareness program for expatriates in the Eastern Province. The symposium in Al-Khobar Thursday was presided by Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al-Ghamdi, Director of Emergency Administration, Health Affairs Eastern Province. Capt. Saeed Al-Asooj Al-Ahmari from the Traffic Department of the Eastern Province appreciated the enthusiasm of Indian community here to know about the traffic rules. He explained the points system in the traffic law. Capt. Al-Ahmari said that the driving license of a violator getting 24 points within a Hijra year will be canceled for three months.
