Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, on Saturday received here editors of Saudi newspapers and magazines and opinion writers who came to greet and congratulate him on his new post. Prince Naif underlined the importance of news accuracy stating that the Ministry of Interior has security spokesmen to provide information to the media. Prince Naif stressed the importance of the local press standing at the Arab and regional levels urging the editors to train young reporters working in the field. Prince Naif asked the editors and opinion writers to explain the challenges faced by the Arab, Islamic and local societies. Prince Naif highlighted the importance of periodic meetings between Minister of Culture and Information and editors and opinion writers to exchange views and arrange priorities in shaping the public opinion. Prince Naif underlined the social responsibility that should be carried by all media men toward their religion, King and their homeland. Separately, Prince Naif several Princes, ministers, senior officials and Saudi ambassadors to different countries. Also, Prince Naif received the President of Saudi Post Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Benten and Sheikh Abdulrahman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Keliah, the President of Supreme Court in Riyadh as well as a number of Sheikhs and judges of the Supreme Court. Prince Naif also received Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Makkah, members of the Chamber and a number of notables and intellectuals of Makkah. Prince Naif also received a number of senior officials and dignitaries as well as a large group of citizens.
