Authorities have arrested a man accused of bribing a woman by threatening to murder her and kidnap her children if she did not pay him the sum of SR300,000. The man was also previously wanted in connection with a similar case involving threats and forgery in the Eastern Province which led to him fleeing the Kingdom. According to police in the Northern Border province, the man made the threats and also warned the woman that he would publish photographs of her if she did not pay various sums of money, the final demand amounting to SR300,000. Authorities from the province worked with counterparts in the Eastern Province to detain the Arab man in Dammam. The accused was detained while in possession of mobile telephones containing incriminating evidence.
