The Investment Center of the Tourism Department in Qassim has begun inviting investments in tourism projects at numerous sites in the province, with the Credit and Savings Bank expected to provide funding of more than SR10 million. The move follows the signing of an agreement between the bank and the Saudi Commission of Tourism and Antiquities (GCTA). The Onaizah rural houses project, which will receive SR4 million, is considered a tourist project which attracts visitors to the region. Accommodation facilities are expected to receive a high proportion of the funding. The region of Qassim is famous for its rural agriculture and investment in the rural houses is regarded as an important tourism strategy.
