Jotun Paints and Pak Crescent won their matches in the SCC-Dilse T20 Championship which is organized by Yanbu Al-Sinaiya Cricket Association here. Eight teams, which are divided into two groups, are participating in this tournament. Group A: Jotun Paints, Saudi XI, SGB Baroom and Royal Commission. Group B: Pak Crescent, Crystal, Serandib XI and Netpad. In the first match of the tournament, Jotun Paints won over Royal Commission by 7 wickets. Batting first, Royal Commission scored 121 runs. Faisal Rehan (22) and Shahnawaz (21) were the notable scorers. Liaqat of Jotun Paints grabbed 3 wickets conceding 18 runs and Attaullah took 2-19. Responding to the easy target, Jotun Paints reeled off comfortably by 7 wickets with 4.5 overs to spare. A breezy 56 runs by Shabbir Ahmed and a solid 44 by Mohammad Farooq were the notable knocks in its innings. Shabbir Ahmed of Jotun Paints was declared as the Man of the Match. In the second match, Pak Crescent defeated Serandib by 38 runs in a high scoring match. Pak Crescent, taking first strike, scored 189-6. Nadeem Jaweed (43) and Waseem Abbas (37) were the main contributors. Mohammad Fazmi and Usama of Serandib claimed two wickets each. Chasing the target, Sarandip XI managed 151. When Amir Ali (55) and Imran Khan (49) took up the challenge, the other batsmen failed. For Pak Crescent, Nadeem Javed chipped in 3 for 26 while Waseem Javed took 2 for 16.
