King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has expressed his gratitude and thanks to Almighty Allah for the recovery of Crown Prince Sultan and his discharge from hospital in New York. The King prayed to Allah for Prince Sultan's good health and immediate return to the Kingdom. Chairing the weekly Cabinet meeting King Abdullah briefed the Council on his meetings, consultations and talks during the Arab-Latin America summit in Doha last week and the G20 summit in London afterwards.. Dr Abdul Aziz Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, said the Council welcomed the G20 decisions and stressed the importance of restoring sustainable economic growth and confidence in the mechanism for reforming the global financial system, and for reactivating financial control and monitoring to achieve global economic stability. The Cabinet lauded the G20 decision to set up a body for international financial stability. The Minister of Commerce and Industry briefed the Cabinet on the 17th Arab Economic Forum held in Beirut last Thursday, in which the Kingdom underlined the importance of dealing with the global economic crisis and recession in Arab countries by forging more cooperation.
