The Medical Violations Committee is investigating a complaint that a surgeon's error led to a man suffering from repeated bouts of paralysis and loss of nerve control. Sixtyone-year-old Abdul Rahim Ghazi says he underwent surgery at a Makkah hospital to correct a slipped disc in his neck but was left with damage to his spinal cord leading to water on the brain causing him to daily lose control of his nervous system and swallow his tongue.
