Princess Nuha Bint Saud Bin Abdul Mohsen Aal Saud, wife of Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Madina, is set to open the Taiba Educational and Recreational Festival at the Equestrian Club in Jeddah on Saturday (April 4) under the guideline of Taiba Women's Charity Group. The event is launched for the benefit of Taiba Children's Village of Madina which specializes in the care of orphans. Commenting on the festival, Tahir Bawazir, CEO of Knowledge Economic City (KEC) in Madina, said: Under the direction of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Knowledge Economic City supports charity projects like this one which aims to increase family bonds and foster dedication to the community.” KEC is the diamond sponsor of the festival. Around 600 women will participate in the auspicious occasion. Bawazir further said the festival “encourages work and services for the good of the community, aside from promoting educational value and social networking.” Bawazir added that the KEC project is a proof of King Abdullah's commitment to support charitable activities for the advancement of the society and the citizenry. “As a diamond sponsor of this festival, we know its noble objectives aimed at reviving the archaeological and historical heritage in the town of Mustafa (peace be upon him), and (we hope this festival) achieve objectives that will contribute further to family social and educational cohesion and bring about friendly atmosphere and strong comprehensive care program in Taiba Children's Village,” the CEO of Knowledge Economic City noted.
