N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Telugu Desam president and a leading light of the non-Congress, non BJP political formation in the country, has expressed confidence that the next government in Delhi will be formed by the Third Front as no other party would be in a position to come to power. Addressing a news conference in Hyderabad, Naidu hailed the decision of Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar decision to attend the Third Front rally in Bhubaneswar. “Naveen Patnaik's Biju Janta Dal is already with us and Sharad Pawar attending the rally is a clear indication that we will all work together,” he said. Naidu said many more changes will take place at the national level and many partners of the UPA and NDA will come out to join the Third Front. “I am confident that many others will also come out of UPA and NDA to join Third Front. Sharad Pawar may also join us and all of us together will form the alternative government. There is no doubt about it,” he said. “Congress has already lost the hope and they are ready to sit in the opposition. This was admitted by their official spokesperson. BJP is unable to make any dent. They are not picking up and there is no chance for them. Third front is the only option,” he said. However, Naidu made it clear that he was not an aspirant for the Prime Ministerial post. “It was offered to me twice in the past and I refused. But I work to the best of my ability to see that the Third Front government comes to power in Delhi,” he said. About TDP's prospect in Andhra Pradesh, Naidu said, “you are going to see surprise results in Andhra.” He stressed that the problems within the Grand Alliance have been sorted out and all the unauthorized candidates will withdraw from the contest.
