Police crash car in qat chase

A police patrol vehicle crashed and overturned Tuesday while in pursuit of a qat smuggler who had refused to stop his vehicle when ordered. The patrol set off in rapid pursuit, but struck a pavement resulting in their car turning over. None of the passengers were seriously injured. The smuggler abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot, leaving behind 500 bundles of qat.
