Yanbu Industrial College is organizing a cricket tournament for only Saudi students here. Six teams are pitted against each other for the tournament. The Saudi students were introduced to the exciting sport of cricket by the IMT department. About 77 students expressed their desire to feature in the historic event, first of its kind in the Kingdom. Dr. Aamir Khan took them to the game, explaining the rules of the game and training them at the same time. The event gained momentum when Ali Rashid Cheema and Ayaz Lodhi (IMT Faculty members), Abdullah Nadwi, Meshaal Qureshi, Zakaria, Abdullah and Ahmad joined hands to promote the game. A number of dignitaries including SCC members Nadeem Nadwi (CEO), Hamid Rana, Samad, YACA members Akram Qureshi (President), Mazhar Khan, several IMT teachers and YIC students attended the ceremony. __
