A panel discussion on investment opportunities at King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) was held at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday (JCCI), sponsored by Mustafa Ahmed Kamal Sabri, secretary-general, JCCI and Sheikh Ismail Abu Dawood, Emar Economic City (EEC) adviser. A detailed presentation about the various parts and characteristics of KAEC was held. A number of JCCI members and officials of EEC briefed the audience on the achievements that have been reached in the implementation of the project and investment opportunities offered by various business sectors. A detailed presentation of the various project areas, industries, seaport, central business district, educational city, resorts and residential neighborhoods were highlighted in the workshop with a small model of KAEC. “The company's keenness is to provide the best opportunities for Saudi investors,” said the representatives of EEC. “This project which is being developed and extended over an area of 168 million square meters on the Red Sea Coast will be implemented according to schedule,” he said. “This panel discussion gave great opportunity and provided a platform to the participants to communicate directly,” he added. “The development of the King Abdullah Economic City is a manifestation of the vision of the wise leadership of Saudi Arabia in support of the development process at the Economic and Social Council in the Kingdom,” said Sabri. He pointed out that the JCCI is committed to different growth options, adding that its members and other employers are confident that the panel discussion has opened new opportunities for investment. __
