The Administrative Court in Riyadh has issued two different verdicts in cases related to the Ministry of Health. The first verdict orders the ministry to pay an operation and maintenance company SR700,000 that was cut from its benefits. The second verdict rules against another company which was asking the ministry for SR3 million in compensation. The first case was the result of a dispute between the ministry and the company over the terms of the contract and the court found no reason for the ministry to deduct anything from the money which was owed to the company. In the second case, the court found that the company lodging a complaint against the ministry did not provide the necessary documents to support its claim and, therefore, the court rejected it. The company's representative has decided to appeal the court's decision.
