Expatriates in the Kingdom suffering from tuberculosis (TB) will be treated in government hospitals free of charge, said Abdulrahman Kurkuman, director of the Taif Health Department, Tuesday. The initiative has come in compliance with a Royal Order. His statement came during his visit of a book fair on the disease as the Kingdom marked World Tuberculosis Day Tuesday to commemorate the date in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch presented his discovery of the TB bacillus to a group of doctors in Berlin.
