It's a paradox. Varun Gandhi is claiming that he is a victim of a political conspiracy! All that claim of faith is hoax. He is Maneka Gandhi's son who was a Sikh. His father Sanjay Gandhi is son of Feroz Gandhi who was a Parsi. He is not from Gandhi's (i.e. Mohandas Gandhi) family. The name Gandhi was an adopted name to pay respect to Gandhi. Varun's inflammatory remarks against Muslims are in fact an insult to the iconic name of Gandhi, who sacrificed his life to save India's secular democracy. Due to security reasons, soon after the murder of Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguard, Varun was sent to the UK for studies. We don't know what, and where, he studied so he lost his ‘Indianness' of tolerance and respect to the rich Indian culture and tradition that prohibits disrespecting others, faiths and religions. I blame the BJP for this. It was the BJP party that distributed hate-mongering CDs inciting Hindus against Muslims during the last elections in Lucknow.
