The Disabled Children's Association (DCA) received at its center last Wednesday students of Al-Manarat Elementary School to inform them on the DCA's work and its medical, educational and rehabilitation services for those with special needs. The gathering was also an opportunity for the 596 DCA children to share activities with non-disabled children. The visit began with a tour of the physical therapy and articulation problem units, and the departments for social services and medical records. The students also toured the children's residence, which is a daytime-only division where mothers bring their disabled children for intensive training with specialists.
