A Chinese delegation held a meeting with Saudi businessmen here recently to invite them to the famous Canton Fair, the second largest exhibition of the world products organized by China every year. Chinese Consul General Yaniq Waniq met the vice chairman of the JCCI Mazen Mohammed Batterjee, secretary general of JCCI Ahmed Kamal Mustafa Sabri and Saudi businessmen. Mohammed Batterjee highlighted the friendly relationship between the two countries in various fields. “The trade relations between Saudi Arabia and China have developed steadily over the last five years with balance of trade being in favor of the Kingdom,” he said. Saudi Arabia is the largest trading partner of China in west Asia and Africa. In 2008 almost 64 percent trade increased between the two countries, said Chinese Consul General. CEO Canton Fair Wang Rinshong said China was holding this exhibition for more than 50 years.
