Today Friday sees the start of women's cultural events at Al-Janadriya Festival, as patronized by Princess Nouf Bint Abdul Aziz. Princess Nouf expressed her happiness at the success of this year's festival and said that female participation at Al-Janadriya underlines the role of women in the cultural scene in all specialties. Jawahir Abdul ‘Aal, head of cultural events at the festival, said that the women's activities would last three days and include symposiums and a national operetta.
