The Expatriates Follow-up Committee in Jeddah has foiled an attempt by 11 Filipinos to leave the country under Indonesian names. The Filipinos arrived from Riyadh and Dammam claiming they had entered the Kingdom for Umrah and had subsequently lost their passports. “We noticed their speech didn't seem to be Indonesian, and when we searched them we found copies of their original passports hidden in their clothes,” a Passports Department official said.
