Over 200 researchers, experts and King Abdulaziz University faculty members on Sunday participated in the first program to boost scientific research in different fields. The program, preside over by Prof. Osama S. Tayyeb, KSU President, was aimed at increasing the abilities of female students in colleges recently accredited to KAU. “It is our first priority to reach the society by creating a unique university with sound research facilities. We cannot achieve it except through making a scientific research program and to make it hugely successful,” Dr. Abdullah Omar Bafail, Vice President for girls' studies and scientific research, said. “By creating a suitable environment, condensing training, acquiring the experiences and deepening the concept of effort and perseverance in the different fields of scientific research we will develop sound research ties between the faculty members in the educational colleges,” said Dr. Bafail.
