The first thing that came to mind when I heard about the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team in Pakistan was a comment from former England skipper and all-rounder Sir Ian Botham. He said “Pakistan is the sort of place every man should send his mother-in-law to, for a month, all expenses-paid trip.” This was way back in 1984 after England's tour of Pakistan. Unfortunately, 25 years on, things haven't changed much. In fact it seems to be going from bad to worse. And sadly, with the current state of affairs in Pakistan there seems to be no sign of a turnaround any time soon. God help Pakistan.
