Civil Defense is celebrating the World Civil Defense Day by creating awareness among the general public toward need for preventive and self-protection measures in the event of disaster and similar emergencies. The Civil Defense in Jeddah is organizing an exhibition and educational campaign for the awareness of the public to react in different accidental situations at Serfari Mega Mall. The exhibition launched Sunday will continue till March 7. It is showcasing all types of firefighting equipment and clothes and distributing educational brochures, booklets and cassettes to teach how to react in critical situations. World Civil Defense Day is celebrated every year on March 1.
