King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Dr. Abdullah Bin Muhammad Bin Ibrahim Aal Al-Sheikh, the Chairman of the fifth Shoura Council, during the inauguration of the consultative body's new term on Sunday. Al-Sheikh and 149 other members of the consultative body took their oath of office before King Abdullah. The oath they took said, “I swear by Allah to be loyal to my religion, King and country, not to disclose any state secrets, to safeguard the interests and regulations of the state and to perform my work with sincerity, honesty and justice.” The King wished them success in serving their religion and nation with sincerity and honesty. He asked them to be profuse in their advice to him.
