AN air of excitement filled the American International School Jeddah (AISJ) as it hosted the 4th annual Family Matters Carnival on Thursday. Dr.Osama Zahran, vice president of the board of trustees of the AISJ and president of the school's Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) said: “This carnival is always a wonderful opportunity for all cultures to blend together and share their experiences.” The carnival attracted a potpourri of various people from different countries. School superintendent Dr. Mark English said that the funds raised will go towards the improvement of school facilities. A percentage of all the proceeds from the book fair will benefit the AISJ library. This year the festival drew approximately 7,000 visitors on campus. __
