Cordero, who left the Brewers to join the Reds in the offseason, pitched a perfect ninth for his second save of the season. Cincinatti scored three runs in the top of the seventh after it had been tied 1-1. Mets 4, Phillies 3, 12 innings: In New York, Jose Reyes scored the winning run with a deft slide at the plate in the 12th inning as New York downed Philadelphia. The Mets won successive games against the Phillies, having previously lost nine in a row to their National League East rivals. With two outs in the 12th, Reyes doubled off Tom Gordon and Angel Pagan grounded a sharp single to center to clinch it.
