Al-Maabar launches $10b Aqaba project

An Abu Dhabi-based developer says it has launched a $10 billion tourism real estate venture in Jordan's Red Sea resort city of Aqaba.
Al-Maabar International Investments said in a statement Thursday the Marsa Zayed development in Aqaba will be the biggest real estate and tourism project ever undertaken in Jordan. The project includes high-rise residential towers, retail, recreational and financial districts, as well as hotels.
