A second Arab psychiatrist working at the Taif Mental Hospital has been removed to Ward 15, where patients are kept under observation after developing inexplicable changes in behavior. The psychiatrist was suffering from deep paranoia, claiming that unknown persons were poisoning his food to make his skin go black and eventually kill him. He had also informed colleagues that he was suffering from hallucinations, at which point he was taken to Ward 15 for his condition to be assessed by a special medical committee. It was later discovered in reports found in his possession that the psychiatrist had suffered from mental disorders before coming to the Kingdom. The case follows that of another Arab doctor less than three weeks ago who had threatened to kill anyone who came near him and eventually ended with the man committing suicide.
