A Civil Defense team found missing three-year-old Hanan alive Friday in a deserted mountain area in southern Taif, more than 20 hours after going missing. The team found her sleeping on the ground around the debris of a stone building in the mountain. The girl was reunited briefly with her family before she was taken to hospital. She has been receiving treatment and she is in stable condition, said Col. Khaled Al-Qahtani, spokesman of the Taif Civil Defense Department. No criminal suspicions have been raised about her missing. The girl went outside her family's house Thursday, but lost her way back home. When the family reported her as missing, the Civil Defense deployed a team of 40 to search for the girl around the city. The team combed the mountain areas and wells, fearing that the girl might have drowned.
