The Joint National Training Program has started a program run jointly with charities and training centers to employ young Saudis from needy families and give them priority in employment. Trainees will be paid SR1,500 during the period of training and subsequently employed with starting salaries from between SR2,100 to SR4,000. An official at the program said participants would be trained in 12 professions, among them executive secretary, sales representative, car mechanic, welder, security guard, production staff, painter, electrician, retail seller and reception staff. It has also been announced that there are more than 500 job vacancies for graduates from Elementary, Intermediate and Secondary schools in Dammam, Khobar, Jubail and Ras Tanoorah.
