A fuel truck that crashed after skidding and started to leak its cargo onto Sitteen Street Wednesday led to the evacuation of the General Court and other buildings in the vicinity. The buildings were evacuated as a precautionary measure after the truck started to leak its 33,000 liters of fuel on to the asphalt, and authorities used earth and foam to stop the leaking and cool the vehicle to prevent an explosion. Having contained the area, the authorities applied a substance to the road to prevent further skidding of vehicles.
